This weekend's Liverpool FC vs Southampton match up proved why every team, every player, fears coming to Anfield. It was a decisive win, upping our "no home loss streak" to 16 across all competitions. There were a few frailties across the back line but Alisson stepped up, proving again why he's the best one-v-one goalie in the world.

MATCHDAY – WEEK 13
LIVERPOOL FC 4 - SOUTHAMPTON 0
Have to take a moment to talk about my man, Robbo. Andy Robertson has been the brunt of a lot of jokes and criticisms the past few weeks. I was starting to get annoyed having to defend him. I forgot that I don't need to defend the best left back in the league...he can do that himself with his on-field performance. He orchestrated that first goal like a conductor leads an orchestra. The Scottish Energizer Bunny delivered a man-of-the-match performance.
Thiago was another stand out for me, with a feisty performance that's starting to show the promise the Spanish magician came to the team with. I trust this is just a sign of things to come from him!
In fact, this was an impressive effort by all players (even Milner avoided a yellow card!).
There was a lot of debate in the pub about Henderson but, coming off an injury, he got his minutes in, bossed the midfield like a champ, and made a number of laser-focused passes between the lines or lobs from the back to set our forwards in motion. Oh Captain, My Captain!
Missed the match? Even if you didn't, let's relive it! Yeah, 4-0 wins are becoming common at Anfield in the league but let's not take this for granted. The silly season is upon us and anything can happen.
Locally, Toronto and area fans started to stream in an hour before kick off to grab their favourite seats and ordered up a "footy breakfast," which here in Toronto means a hot English breakfast + a Pint. That, plus a 4-0 win? Perfect morning.
