The Anfield Wrap – LIVE in Toronto

Who else is old enough to remember the last time four Liverpool rockstars traveled from Liverpool to put on a sold-out show to screaming fans?

Neil, Craig, "Gibbo," and John - the new Fab Four - from The Anfield Wrap kicked off their sold-out North American Tour right here in Toronto this week. And what an event it was.

The Anfield Wrap is an entertaining fan-run and fan-focused media outlet from Liverpool that represents the voice of the Kop through internationally followed podcasts, videos, and informative articles. With their focus on fan-engagement, the lads embarked on a tour of North American cities to share their stories and experiences from the Kop, drink a few pint (OK, more than just a few), and, most importantly, engage direct with fellow Liverpool FC fans.

LFC Toronto Members were given prime seats and engagement with "member-first access" to the Antler Room at The Loose Moose on Front St., Toronto for the event. The 3-hour event had the sold-out crowd laughing and singing the entire night as the TAW personalities spilled their secrets, favourite LFC moments, and took the piss out of each other.

We spent equal amounts of time glued to the unique stories and perspectives from the well-connected TAW personalities - lifelong LFC fans themselves - and oohing and awwing as Gibbo swayed back and forth, betting on whether or not he'd spill his beer on stage.

Most importantly, with the help of our fantastic volunteers, TAW held a raffle for a signed HENDO jersey, which saw us raise over $1,000 for Liverpool Foodbanks. Because this is Liverpool FC and This Means More.

TAW LIVE was another amazing LFC community experience that saw fans from across the Greater Toronto Area gather to share their love of Liverpool FC, proving once again that as an LFC fan, You Never Walk Alone.
