LFC Toronto Charity Day at The Slye Fox
In keeping with our goal of supporting local charities, the Official Liverpool Supporters Club of Toronto hosted another Charity Event this weekend at our GTA West pub, The Slye Fox.
Joining local fans and "regulars" ahead of the Liverpool vs Brighton match was OLSC Toronto's "AWAY BUS" filled with fans from the downtown Toronto Pub, The Elephant & Castle.
And, as has become custom, the downtown pub fans who traveled to the Burlington pub for the event enjoyed complimentary bevvies thanks to our friends at Carlsberg Canada.
Upon arrival, Steve Sinnicks entertained fans, who played all the Liverpool favourites.
Fans dropped off non-perishable food items to support the Food 4 Kids organization that helps support local families in need. Thanks to everyone for your generous support.
And while we were raising both funds and food items for the charity, we enjoyed a dramatic "from behind" win to put Liverpool Top Of The League!
No LFC Toronto event would be complete without Pete falling asleep somewhere. Thankfully, this year it was safely on the AWAY BUS.
