OPEN POSITIONS

PUB AMBASSADOR (NEW)

Liverpool FC is one of the greatest football clubs in the world and the Greater Toronto Area is home to one of the largest groups of LFC fans this side of the Mersey River. And that’s why OLSC Toronto has set up multiple “official home pubs” where our thousands of fans can gather to watch each match throughout the season.

To support the member experience, this year OLSC Toronto is seeking Pub Ambassadors to support the Executive coordinating the matchday experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with other ambassadors to ensure at least one is always there for all matches.
  • Align with Executive on match-day events (E.g. Raffles, signage, table-toppers, etc.)
  • Organize / contribute to Pub Setup & Takedown (with volunteers) as applicable.

Requirements

  • Attend at least 75% of the matches at the pub
  • Arrive at least 60 to 90 minutes before kick-off

SOCIAL MEDIA / COMMUNITY MANAGER

One of OLSC Toronto’s goals is to build and support a strong Liverpool FC community across the GTA.  Our mission always involves growing our awareness and increasing our digital footprint to encourage, recognize, and reward fans wherever they are.

Naturally, social media and digital engagement across various platforms, including our website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram is key, so we’re looking for strong contributors to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and work on communication plans regarding matchdays, member events, partners, discounts, merchandise and more.
  • Create, post, and monitor content across our platforms.
  • Manage live matchday threads on our Facebook page.

Skills / Requirements

  • Social Media Content Creation + Publishing, Graphic Design (nice to have), Community Management (nice to have)
  • Time commitment: Expected 4-6 hours monthly, not counting time spent during matches
  • Frequency: Once a week ideally (flexible as per your schedule, rotating with team)
  • We meet on occasion, usually before or after games for 30-60 minutes and on patios in the off-season.
  • Email/Whatsapp collaboration is quite normal.

VISUAL MEDIA (GRAPHICS / PHOTOGRAPHY)

Looking for graphic artists and creative-types for visual content creation used in promotional material, social media, on the website, and at events.

Responsibilities:

  • Graphic design for email, social media or blog content.
  • Print for at-pub signage.
  • Bonus: Photograph and/or video fan activity on matchdays or other member events.

Skills / Requirements

  • Graphic Design, Social Media, Photography, Videography, Video Editing
  • Time commitment: Expected 4-6 hours monthly, not counting time spent during matches
  • Frequency: Once a week ideally (flexible as per your schedule, rotating with team)
  • We meet on occasion, usually before or after games for 30-60 minutes and on patios in the off-season.
  • Email/Whatsapp collaboration is quite normal.

CONTENT WRITER

Communication is key to keeping our members and non-member up to date on all things Liverpool FC, as well as information about our local club’s activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Write-ups for pre-match or post match blog content.
  • Composition of the occasional email newsletter.
  • Social media content, when needed.

Skills / Requirements

  • Strong command of the English language, marketing/PR, social media, blogging.
  • Time commitment: Expected 4-6 hours monthly, not counting time spent during matches
  • Frequency: Once a week ideally (flexible as per your schedule, rotating with team)
  • We meet on occasion, usually before or after games for 30-60 minutes and on patios in the off-season.
  • Email/Whatsapp collaboration is quite normal.

EVENT ASSISTANCE

As the OLSC Toronto footprint grows, so does the overall member experience.  This includes an exciting expansion of the member event calendar to non-matchdays and we’re on the hunt for experienced and willing hands to add to our bandwidth. Join your fellow Reds bringing Liverpool FC fans together for every game and in the off-season — whether locals, newcomers, or out-of-town visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, strategy, awareness build-up and execution of event(s)
  • Focus on select one-of or annual events

Skills / Requirements

  • Event Coordination, Oral and Written Communication (internally and to Sponsors/Partners), Social Media (nice to have)
  • Time commitment: Expected 4-6 hours monthly, not counting time spent during matches
  • Frequency: Touch base with the committee once a week ideally; be responsive on email every day or two.
  • We meet on occasion, usually before or after games for 30-60 minutes and on patios in the off-season.
  • Email/Whatsapp collaboration is quite normal.

MEMBER MANAGEMENT

OLSC Toronto is growing rapidly, and with that growth comes the need to manage our growing database of members. 

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment of new members and Membership drives
  • Member engagement touchpoints via digital or in-person communication

Skills / Requirements

  • Association Management, Membership, Strong Communication Skills, Social Media or Fundraising (nice to have)
  • Time commitment: Expected 4-6 hours monthly, not counting time spent during matches
  • Frequency: Touch base with the committee once a week ideally; be responsive on email every day or two.
  • We meet on occasion, usually before or after games for 30-60 minutes and on patios in the off-season.
  • Email/Whatsapp collaboration is quite normal.
